Why I choose Psychology?

 When I was like 8-11 years old I was really obsessed with animals, and that's why I wanted to become a veterinary. I had the idea that I could save animals life, but when I grew up I realized that many times animals die, so I couldn't carry with that in my conscience.

During my adolescence I wasn't sure of what to do with my life, but my dad introduced me to the idea of ​​being an engineer so I could have a good salary in the future. However, even if I had good grades in maths, I was always more interested in the humanistic path, so I rejected to the engineering idea.

 When I was in my third year of high school I had psychology as a subject for the first time in my life. I was studying the basic theories that teachers taught me, but that wasn't enough. I wanted to learn more and more about it because every theory is like a different answer of how human mind works.

 In the present i'm in my second semester of Psychology and I really like it, but also I'm having another problems that make me feel insecure of continue studying at the university.
